The streets of Hue City, including Pham Ngu Lao – Chu Van An – Vo Thi Sau street, which is vibrant, especially at the nights of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every week because of the walking area set up on these roads.
This area is the second pedestrian street opened in Hue City after Nguyen Dinh Chieu Walking Street along the Perfume River.
These walking streets will operate from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am of the next morning on three nights of weekends.
The pedestrian streets have a total length of over 1km, of which the Pham Ngu Lao route is 215m long, the Chu Van An road is 350m long, and the Vo Thi Sau route is 480m long.
At some junctions, Hue Academy of Music and local artist groups organize street music performances for pedestrians. Along the walking streets, there are typical culinary areas where the guests can sit to taste a cup of beer or Hue local food.

Hue’s Walking Streets opened on September 29, 2017, with the enthusiastic responses of thousands of locals and tourists. And, the authority of Hue has invested VND 50 billion to prepare the infrastructure of the pedestrian zone on these three main roads.
All of these are considered as the wishes of Hue people and the local government to increase tourist experiences and attract more travelers coming to Hue. Now, the routes become busy business areas at night in Hue.
